you guys, for the first time in the past year and a half (!), i finally got around to updating my portfolio with lots of new projects! check it out >>> here. i’ve gotten to work with some amazing clients on some really fun projects and i’ll be sharing some of them in more detail here on the blog, starting today with the moon & co.!
i’m so excited to finally share the completed branding project i worked on for the moon & co., a creative event workspace in downtown los angeles. working with molly was a total dream. she had a great vision for her new space and gave me complete creative freedom with the design. we started with her logo and from there, built out the entire brand with a website, business cards, and other print collateral. take a look around her website here. i love how it turned out and a huge thank you to the talented and amazing lindsay of hello monday creative who developed the site! her business cards are also some of my very favorites featuring neutral colors and a blind debossed logo (letterpressed by the one and only presshaus la).
it’s been so fun to see molly’s space all over instagram and all of the shoots, events, etc. that have been happening there! if you’re looking in la to rent a space for your event, i highly recommend the moon and co.!
i’ve had the pleasure of working with molly rhymer these past few months on her latest new venture, the moon & co.! it is an incredible space in downtown la filled with stylish furniture, gorgeous rugs, and amazing light (those windows!). it’s perfect for hosting any kind of event/workshop/shoot/you name it. this project has been so much fun for me because not only is molly an awesome client + friend, but i’ve had the opportunity to be involved from the ground up on every aspect of branding from the logo, photos, website, business cards, etc! every designer’s dream!
we will be launching the new website very soon, but for now, i’ll leave you with our inspiration board for the whole shebang.
this is a recent invite i designed for a hawaii themed baby shower! my client let me have complete creative freedom with these and i had so much fun with them. i love monstera leaves and was determined to incorporate them in some way. i’m so happy with how they turned out! they’re definitely some of my faves. more new work coming soon…i’ve been cranking out so much print work lately!
oh hi there again! it’s been quite some time and i have so many things i want to blog about. starting with this! today i’m sharing the branding + website i did for our film company, ellay films. it’s always fun designing for personal projects and having complete control over every element involved. after we established our mostly neutral aesthetic with this mood board, i hand lettered the logo and designed the site. then i created some branding pieces including a pricing sheet, business cards, notepads, thank you cards, and foiled coasters. we just can’t get enough paper. up next – a PDF brochure to send out to inquiring clients!
honestly, this whole project has been a dream – working with my sister, designing, filming, editing…so many things i love wrapped into one! it’s going to be a good year.
i recently finished up some hand lettering for some wedding invitations and here are a few snippets! this client was so sweet and so much fun to work with and her ideas were a blast to bring to fruition. i’ve been doing a lot of lettering the past several months (these invitations and these invitations, this logo, my logo…) and i’m really enjoying time away from the computer experimenting with different styles and brush techniques. i’m currently working on a few wedding invitations with custom lettering (good script fonts are few and far between i tell ya) so you’ll be seeing a lot more on here in the near future!
