this past weekend i went big.  i bought the canon 7-D DSLR camera.  i don’t have it yet, but will in a few weeks and cannot wait to get my hands on it!

if you know me at all, you know i have ALWAYS been obsessed with taking pictures/video and capturing every moment possible.  i have no joke been through about 8 digital cameras and 2 video cameras since high school and this past christmas, my boyfriend bought me my very first DSLR (<– best present ever).  it was a friend’s older Canon 20D and a great starter camera — but now that i feel i can shoot semi-decently with that, me and my impatient-i-want-the-latest-and-greatest-technology self wanted an upgrade.  and since i’m going on a very exciting vacation in a few weeks, i figured i might as well just splurge now.  the thing i’m most excited about (besides the incredible pictures it will take) is the fact that it takes HD videoooo.  in high school, i edited videos up the ying yang.  i am so excited to start editing again with high quality footage!  a prettttyyy penny it was, but i’m pretty sure it will be worth every cent!
